Description of situations

1. A policeman from Gorzow

There was an accident at the cross-roads, in the center of Gorzow. A too fast moving car crashed into two correctly parked ones. There were no injuries, however the damage was great. In the place of the accident a sergeant Marek Surmacz acting the head of the patrol stated that the driver who had caused the accident was so drunk that he was barely able to stand on his legs. It turned out that this person had a high position in the national security. Although he was waving official identity card, Surmacz together with another member of the patrol took him for a blood test. To their great surprise, after a month, the results of the test did not show a single promile of alcohol and Surmacz was forced to sign a report that testified the driver's soberness. The sergeant refused to do it; however, he knew that the deal would be hushed up. This is what happened. The driver who caused the accident being drunk retained his position and received compensation from the insurance company PZU that at the time was equal to two "Polonez" automobiles. [whole text]
